When Ford gives a racer like Vaughn Gittin Jr free rein with a Mustang Mach-E, you know he'll take it to the limit. That's exactly what happened when the RTR Vehicles founder, motorsports champion, and Professional Fun-Haver got let loose with an all-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 on one of the Earth’s most remote and beautiful locations: the Faroe Islands.
Fantasy Islands
The island group lies in the North Atlantic and its chock full of mountainous terrain and only five traffic lights. It also has more sheep than people, which means really light traffic.
Now factor in the twisties inherent to any sort of mountain driving and the world's only subsea roundabout (620 feet below Atlantic sea level), and you begin to see why the Faroe Islands are an ideal place to let a drift racing god like Vaugh Gittin Jr off the chain with a Mach-E 1400. They're also one of the world’s leading nations in producing sustainable electricity to boot. Over 50% of the nation’s electricity derives from renewable energy sources. The aim is that the nation’s electricity will be sourced solely from renewable energy by 2030. That's in perfect line with Ford's Mach-E Mustangs. As Ford put it: "A truly unique location with sheer cliffs rising from the sea and a ruggedness embedded in its culture, the Faroe Islands are one of the last bastions of remoteness on this planet with breathtaking terrain and incredible roads."

Now, it would be a crying shame for Gittin Jr and his customized Mach-E 1400 to make the long trip by air, sea, and land all the way out the Faroe Islands and not take any pictures.

The Mach-E 1400 built by Gittin’s RTR vehicles was a collaborative effort with Ford Performance. It's an extremely diverse game changer that can switch from front-wheel drive, rear-wheel drive to all-wheel drive for drift, road racing, gymkhana and everything in between, all while holding four occupants inside.
