We caught some shots of the all-new 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor as it was being tested on public roads in Dearborn, Michigan.
Without question, the next-gen Ranger Raptor looks more substantial than the current model, with bolder proportions and a more aggressive stance. The front end maintains the bold “FORD” lettering across the grille in addition to a set of intricate C-shaped headlamps.
The cab and bed appear to be carry-overs from the current model, which has been on sale in global markets since 2011. The prototype is seen here sporting a set of black wheels that appear to be fairly similar to the current design.
A peek around the backside of the vehicle reveals a dual exhaust setup, along with a camouflaged rear suspension, which begs the question, will it get a coil spring setup like the new, full-size, F-150 based Raptor?
The 2023 Ranger is expected to launch near the end of the 2022 model year.
