We are truly missing out on NYIAS' press days as manufacturers continue to dish out the goods. Prime example: this Acura NSX racecar.
Scheduled for homogolation this coming fall for the FIA's GT3 class, the NSX GT3 project will be led by the Honda Performance Development (HPD) team and built alongside engineering teams from both Ohio and Japan. It already features plenty of custom aero and bodywork, including the massive rear wing and underbody diffuser.
Powering the NSX GT3 will be a 3.5L twin-turbo engine, using the same specs as the one found in the production model 2017 NSX, except it'll be mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox.
We can't wait to see the finished product make its way to the race track.
