With such a wide variety of cars to choose from on show outside the SEMA Show 2017, it's impossible to choose favorites or "best" picks. We found that across the board the caliber of cars at SEMA this year raised the bar, and out front of the Las Vegas Convention Center was no exception. Browse through the large gallery above and keep scrolling for a few cars that left an impact.

Rowdy '67 Mustang Fastback

1967 Mustang Fastback - SEMA 2017 - Rutledge Wood

Designed and built this past year by Rutledge Wood alongside K.C. Mathieu and Mike Finnegan, it was on the virtual chopping block during SEMA on Ebay Motors with proceeds benefiting diabetes charity. With an all-American paint scheme, the Mustang's big tires and rally-inspired Hella lights aren't something you see all the time on a pony car—but doesn't it fit just right?

With it's 427 Ford Performance engine pushing out 535 hp and a Tremec TKO 600 transmission, we know this beast is going to roll out a lot of fun for some lucky owner. Selling price? A steal at $55,000.

"Shadowless" '69 Ford Torino

1969 Ford Torino - Axalta and B-Line Auto Company

It takes a lot for a grey car to grab your attention, but this '69 Ford Torino made its presence known in a big way within Axalta's booth. Built by B-Line Auto Company, every last detail has been thought of on this build. From endless metal body work and shaping to one-off machined aluminum parts—we particularly like the functional hood scoop and vents that lead up to injection stakes on a 427 Ford engine built by Robert Pond Motorsports.

Details on #thebaddesttorinoever are too numerous to mention, but you can follow along with it's journey from being built in Nebraska to appearing at the SEMA Show on it's own Instagram account, @shadowless_torino.

Coco Zurita's In-Progress Datsun 620

Datsun 620 - SEMA 2017 - Coco Zurita

We couldn't be more excited than to see our buddy, Coco Zurita, working on another car project. The extreme athlete has been known to switch in his two-wheels for four before, and this Datsun 620 pickup looks to have all the makings preparing for something awesome.

The beginnings of a built RB powerplant is situated in the Datsun's engine bay, already with some surprises we love seeing! Look for more of this Datsun 620 here on Driving Line.
